1ST BRIGADE BAND RETURNS TO THE GROUNDS OF THE LINCOLN-TALLMAN HOUSE

The Rock County Historical Society is proud to present the 1st Brigade Band in concert on the grounds of the Lincoln-Tallman House. The band will be the finale to our Civil War Living History Day, with a Presidential Performance for President and Mrs. Lincoln, General and Mrs. Grant, and their hosts Mr. and Mrs. Tallman.

The band lives up to its motto "Making History Live" with performances that create an atmosphere reminiscent of the 1860s; of sights, sounds, and voices from the past speaking to the present. The musicians appear in reproductions of the uniforms worn by the original 1st Brigade Band; the color guard represents the 6th Wisconsin infantry; and their Vivandiers (Ladies Auxiliary) appear in period dress, beautiful gowns, hoop skirts and all.

Please join the Lincolns, Grants, and Tallmans on July 15 from 6:30 to 9 pm. As always, period dress (or formals) is encouraged but not required. Please call for ticket information.
