About Us
This dream that has become ''Restoring Hope Transplant House" came out of a devastating diagnosis of multiple myeloma for Wes Herbst. The support and hope the Herbst family received at "The Gift of Life Transplant House" in Rochester, MN gave them hope and encouragement. It became the family's dream to bring such support to the Middleton community. The dream was passed on to a non-profit so that the dream can become reality. We want the gift of courage, hope and life to become a reality for other searching families.
Renovation for Restoring Hope Tranpslant House is underway thanks to a dedicated Board of Directors and the continued support of the community! The house that will provide a "home-away-from-home" for transplant patients and their caregivers will soon open its doors.
The current house has 10 bedrooms with community bathrooms, and much of the rest of the house is in disrepair. Renovation plans provide 16 bedrooms - each with their own bath, a completely remodeled kitchen, and expanded community areas.
