Tigger before:
Tigger's new family got a call from a relative after they had lost a beloved pet asking if they would be interested in a Schnauzer. They went to see him and took him home. He needed medical care and grooming.

Tigger after:
He is the constant companion of his new "dad"

Floyd lives in Cambridge with his new family. They love him dearly. "He is such a sweet little guy and very deserving of his great new home. And the best part is they are clients at (the vet clinic) So I will still
see him on occasion."

Michele (Employee of Chalet Veterinary Clinic)

Dear Kathy and Small Animal Advocates,

Thank you so much for helping me and a puppy in need. He was dropped off Friday night (3/07/08) at a friend's house. He took the puppy to all his neighbor's houses. No one had seen him before. So on Sunday night, he was bringing the puppy to the home of a mutual friend to meet us. Upon the drive, the dog box he was riding in came open in the back of the truck while the truck was traveling at 55 mph. the driver just happened to look in the mirror. Just in time to see the puppy jump out on to the road. He was sure the puppy lost his life. Amazingly, enough he only suffered a few injuries He tore one of the claws out of his front foot, needed a few stitches in his leg, and had a few scrapes. He has a new home now with a mutual friend. His first night at his new home, he even slept in bed with his new person. Thank the Lord this little boy has a very happy ending. Once again, thank you for all the help.

Sincerely,

Michele Holcomb

Kathy, We wanted to thank you for being a blessing to us for helping us find Happy, and for SAA paying for Happy to be neutered. We are all very happy together.

Dear SSA,
I can't tell you how much I appreciated your generous Boomer fund help for Jasmine's surgery. The remaining bill is still way over $400, but I can make payments without interest if I pay it off within 90 days. I got way more than I bargained for when I agreed to take these three cats! But I love them dearly, so they're worth it. Thanks a million for your help!
Sincerely,

Small Animal Advocates,

A woman came to me with a situation regarding two female cats just around Thanksgiving 2005. She was young and Naive about the ways of the cruel world. She had said her mother (the owner of these two cats) has been placed in jail. Her residence had been cleaned out with the exception of these two cats. The young lady said they had no where to go. She tried two humane societies only to be told "sorry we are overcrowded already we can't help you." Her next stop was my place of employment (a pet shop). The owner of the shop refused them as well "Sorry too old we'll never place them." They were only 5 months old. So someone must have said just the right thing. I overheard someone saying something about dumping cats in the country. I immediately jumped into action. Needless to day "Calli" (picture enclosed) is in a new home and "molly" is in a foster home still searching for a forever home. I have gotten them vaccinated and they just got spayed thanks to the funding provided by Small Animal Advocates! The members of this wonderful group truly are angels in disguise!! Thank you so much for all that you do!! It means more than you'll ever know.

Thanks again,

Katey

Dear Small Animal Advocates:

I am sending you a picture of our male cat Scooter. I had won a free neuter at a drawing you had sometime ago. You had a request in your last newsletter and I apologize for not sending you one sooner. We love him so much.

All the work you do is very important and thank you so much.
