Sadira at UW International Dance Showcase

Sadira will perform in the UW Division of Continuing Studies International Dance Showcase, Friday Feb. 13, 3:30-4:30PM H'Doubler Theater, Lathrop Hall, UW-Madison. This program will feature works by Division of Continuing Studies dance instructors. Free and open to the public.
Sadira and the Riad Dance Co. at the International Festival

Continuing/Intermediate Middle Eastern Dance Summer classes

This class is geared for people with 6-10 weeks of Middle Eastern dance background or for those who want a refresher course. The focus will include more complex technique,layering & presentation. Thursday evenings, 6:00-7:15PM at Kanopy Dance, 341 State St. Six week sessions, $60. Sessions might have short gaps, due to vacations etc. Drop in rate is $12/class. Sadira performs at the Shish Cafe, July 4

Sadira performs raks sharki, the solo women's dance of the Middle East, on Saturday July 4, at the Shish Cafe, 5510 University Ave. Two performances, 6:30PM & 7:30 PM. Sadira performs with Kanopy Dance at Art Fair on the Square

Sadira will perform with Kanopy Dance the annual Art Fair on the Square, Saturday July 11 5:00-6:00PM. The performance will feature solo and group pieces by Kanopy Dance, Sadira, Gaelic Fusion and Tania Tandias. This family friendly program will showcase multiple dance styles - Modern, Middle Eastern, Ballet, Flamenco and Gaelic in their "pure" form as well as some collaborative pieces that blend the dance genres.

Have fun and get in shape with Middle Eastern dance! This class will increase grace, strength and flexibility while building the foundation of Middle Eastern dance. The class will include walking steps, finger cymbals, graceful slow movements and cool music. Offered through the UW Division of Continuing Studies.
