About Us
The Sauk Trails Optimist Club is made of ordinary citizens who want to take a leadership role in the community through working with area youth. Club meetings are held each Wednesday, 11:45 - 12:45 at Babe's on Schroeder Road.
There is time for fellowship before lunch is served, announcements of club activities and news, and each week we have a speaker/topic for presentation. The club helps out in many youth activites through out the year, with the main one being Special Olympics.
Attendance is not mandatory at lunches, although coming to the meetings is the best way to get to know the other members and really enjoy being in the club. There are many opportunities for leadership in the club, and you can expect to be asked to contribute your skills in youth activities. The club committees foster fun, fellowship, and most important our motto: Friends of Youth.
