Volunteers - Key to Our Success
Volunteers are essential to Second Harvest Foodbank's operation, donating more than 3,000 hours of service each month.

Volunteer Positions (most from 8 am - 4 pm)

Distribution assistant: Assist agencies in warehouse.

Sorter: Sort incoming food donations and stock shelves.

Order picker: Pick items for delivery to agencies.

Office Assistant: Phone and other clerical duties.

Driver: Pick up and deliver donated food (requires CDL)

Driver Assistant: Assists driver with pick-ups and deliveries.

General Maintenance: Help with warehouse maintenance and lawn care.

Housekeeping: Help clean office areas.

Special Events: Assist with special events.

Professional Services: Donate services such as graphic design, printing, grant research.
