The South Madison Coalition of the Elderly brings together people who care about the older adults of our community. We are a non-profit agency providing social services for older adults.

Our purpose is to preserve the independence, dignity and life satisfaction of older adults, and provide support for families and caregivers.

We strive to preserve the life satisfaction of older adults by:

• bringing together individuals in the community who have a concern for the needs of older adults
• coordinating and establishing programs that will help older adults to prepare for and live creatively in their retirement years
• focusing the attention and energies of the community on the needs of older adults
• identifying the needs of older adults and advocating for their resolution
