About Us

The South Madison Coalition of the Elderly is a non-profit agency that brings together people who care about the older adults of our community. Our purpose is to preserve the independence, dignity and life satisfaction of older adults, and provide support for families and caregivers.

Services and programs provided by the Coalition include the following: Case Management, Home Chore Assistance, Lunch Programs, Volunteer Guardianship and Representative Payee Services, Neighborhood Senior Center Activities, Sunday Dinners, Monthly Newsletter, Information and Referrals, and Quality Standards for Group Homes.

Funding and Area Served

The Coalition's area extends from Randall Ave. to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and from Lake Mendota to the city limits and the Town of Madison.

Case Management Services for the Community Options Program are provided throughout Dane County.The Volunteer Guardianship Services are also provided throughout Dane County.

The South Madison Coalition of the Elderly is a non-profit funded by the City of Madison, Dane County, United Way and by doantions from the community. If you would like to make a donation they can be mailed to 128 E. Olin Ave Suite 110 Madison, WI 53713.
