Founded in 2002, Sharing Resources Worldwide makes surplus and recycled medical supplies, durable medical equipment, and related items and activities available to needy populations around the world. SRW endeavors to improve the health and quality of life of its recipients and to empower them to live with increased dignity, independence, and hope. This is accomplished with three main activities of SRW:

1. Medical/surgical missions worldwide (2-4 per year with local health professionals on their teams)

2. Shipping supplies to need identified areas of the world (22 shipments or 368 tons in 2005 were shipped worldwide)

3. The Wisconsin Nicaragua Wheelchair Project

Topics include: How we can create ripples and plant seeds of hope worldwide, how SRW got started and what they can accomplish.

Use of a VCR or DVD player to show an 8 min. video is helpful.

American College Planners provides free innovative college planning seminars in Dane County and throughout Wisconsin. Our group of trained volunteers includes certified college planning specialists, financial aid counselors, and former educators. Our free seminars can be held at businesses, libraries, and schools throughout the area. We don't sell a product or service.

We share tips on positioning students to colleges for the very best outcome without taking on extra loans, delaying retirement, and even graduating in four years! We have been featured in the Madison Times, Edgewood High School, and are a Money Smart Wisconsin Partner.
