She was a smart little girl. For a six year old she asked some pretty tough questions but her father was up to the task. “How high is that cloud,” she demanded as they walked together. Before he could answer she asked, “Why is ice cold?” He was wise and just listened. She went on, “When grandma died, why did she stop smiling?”

When she was finally finished asking questions, her daddy carefully answered each inquiry with love and patience.

This reminds me of the way our Heavenly Father deals with us - His children. With love and patience He lets us ask our questions. “Why does evil exist? How can a loving God allow horrible things to happen? What does the future hold?”
