Kiwanis Club of Middleton Kiwanis Members Serve on Community Wide Groups
In addition to the volunteer activities within the club listed below and within the community there are other opportunities which can lead to involvement with groups throughout the Greater Madison area.
For example, the Good Neighbor Fest requires involvement from Kiwanis which provides an opportunity to meet and interact with members from virtually every civic club in Middleton.
Serving with the Madison Area Council of Service Clubs broadens this horizon even more.
Kiwanis Club of Middleton Many Opportunites for Kiwanis Members to Serve
Middleton Kiwanis, like all Kiwanis clubs, is structured around committees which focus on a particular area. Our principal service committees are:

Community Service emphasizes support to the community at large including bloodmobile and food drives
Youth Services focuses on service to the youth in our community. This includes activities such as Scouts, High School Scholarships, etc.
Spiritual Aims supports such activities as Middleton Outreach Ministry, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, etc.

Internal to our club there are also activities such as Membership, Publicity and others.

There are opportunities to expand and hone your leadership skills as well as to learn new skills. Once you accept a leadership position within your club, Kiwanis offers professional quality leadership training to aid you in taking your place at the forefront of Kiwanis or any group activity.

Kujichagulia - Madison Center for Self Determination, Inc. Volunteer and other opportunities
Juneteenth is an opportunity to showcase the talents and gifts of African Americans in Madison. We need dancers, singers, rappers, poets, musicians, choirs and actors to perform on the various stages at the Celebration. In addition, to performers, we are in need of volunteers to help in several areas (i.e. set-up, children’s activities, health tent and clean–up). Also we would like local businesses to participate in the Parade. Perhaps you have a company mascot, would like to include a float or a decorated company vehicle. There are many ways in which individuals; groups companies can become involved with the Celebration. For more information on how you, your group or company can become involved, please contact Rhonda Moore at 608.206.5486.
