Lindbergh Elementary PTA Ongoing Collections
The PTA is collecting box tops, Campbell’s labels, specially marked milk caps and other items. These collections provide everything from playground balls to money for field trips. The items can be deposited in the bin near the office.

If you bring box tops or other collection items to school in an envelope marked with your child’s name and teacher before October 27, you will be entered into a drawing for a special prize. The drawing will take place at the Halloween party on October 28. You need not be present to win.
Literacy Network Make a Difference in Someone's Life

Literacy Network is looking for volunteers to help adult learners achieve their life goals through literacy.

* Training is provided (no teaching experience needed)
* 2 hours of instruction each week
* No college degree needed
* Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) available

One-to-One Tutoring

* 6 month commitment
* Flexible hours and locations

Community Literacy Tutoring

* 4 month commitment
* Held at Literacy Network, Boys and Girls Club, and Neighborhood House at various times throughout the week (tutors choose which day to volunteer)
