The Dane County Area Genealogical Society welcomes the general public to attend meetings that offer speakers on various genealogical topics. Our society was formed recently by the merger of the Computer Assisted Genealogists of Southern Wisconsin and the Dane County Genealogical Society.

Our group includes a wide range of genealogists from experts in genealogy with computer skills to newcomers with little or no computer skill. Our society meets monthly; most meetings are on the first Thursday evening of the month. Meetings are held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 4505 Regent St. in Madison (intersection of Regent and Segoe), starting at 7:00 pm.
