Clergy for Choice

If you are clergy, we invite you to join the Clergy for Choice Network.

Are you interested in:

* Supporting and honoring women in the difficult moral choices they make for themselves and their families?

* Helping to spread the word that the majority of religious Americans are pro-faith, pro-family and pro-choice?

* And sending a strong message that religious leaders can be a powerful source of help and comfort to women facing unwanted or problem pregnancies?

As a member of Clergy for Choice, you can help by:

* Educating your congregants and communities on state and national issues

* Participating in public speaking events and worship services

* Speaking with your elected officials

* Counseling women with problem pregnancies

Individuals can join Wisconsin RCRC to become members. Members are invited to be active in Wisconsin RCRC through our affiliate e-newsletter. It highlights opportunities for adocacy, as well as the latest in events and organizational news to supporters statewide.

Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom

SYRF is a project of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. SYRF educates, organizes, and empowers youth and young adults between 16-30 to put faith into action and advocate for pro-choice values and social justice.

Through SYRF you can:

* Make sure that no one else's religion is forced on you

* Work for social justice and heal the world

* Learn about the theology and spirituality of Choice

Support Our Efforts

The Wisconsin Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice is the state's only multi-faith alliance dedicated to preserving reproductive choice. Today our freedom is in greater peril than at any time in the last almosst 36 years. Your help is critical to protect reproductive and religious freedom now and for generations to come.

A suggested individual membership is $25 annually. All donations of any size are welcome.

Organize in Your Community and Congregation
Start now with positive steps.

* Print your denomination's position on abortion and sexuality education in newsletters and on bulletin boards.

* Start a sexuality education program for youth in your congregation.

* Start a study circle or adult education course on your denomination's views on reproductive issues.

* Invite clergy to deliver a sermon on a topic related to reproductive health and choice.

* Support a fund for women with reproductive health care needs. Contact us for more information.

* Ask a clergyperson to join the Religious Coalition's Clergy for Choice Network.

* Arrange for your congregation to join Wisconsin RCRC.

* Help your youth or youth groups form a Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom group.

* Provide and publicize the Religious Coalition's All Options Clergy Counseling service.
