The Wisconsin Hardy Plant Society is a membership of garden enthusiasts who learn, teach and work to grow healthy, long-lasting gardens.

WHPS was founded more than a decade ago by a group of individuals who wanted to promote the love and appreciation of hardy herbaceous plants to every level of gardening expertise. Today, the society approaches 400 members.

Members are invited to expand their knowledge and share their gardening experiences through a variety of venues including:

• Meetings with keynote speakers
• Annual potluck
• Fall symposium
• Newsletters
• Annual plant sale and plant exchanges
• Annual display booth at the WPT Garden Expo
• Garden tours - local, regional, and abroad
