WMLL added a Fall Baseball & Softball Season in 2003, and it has expanded every year with almost 600 players registered for 2008. Baseball has minor, major, junior and senior divisions. Softball has minor and major divisions.
Parent volunteers provide league direction, scheduling, umpiring (except for paid umpire at home plate)and coaching. WMLL provides field maintenance and concessions. The season typically begins Labor Day week and runs for seven weeks. Most leagues play a 12 game schedule plus playoffs.
