A small summer camp for children 7 - 15 years

Simple outdoor living in a non-competitive, ecology oriented camp

Our 120 acre camp is located near Richland Center in an isolated, wooded area of southwest Wisconsin known as the driftless(unglaciated) region.

Up to 34 campers ages 7-12 can explore the natural world in a caring, safe community as they hike, play, cook, garden, go on overnights, learn some woodworking, toast marshmallows over a campfire, wade in the creek and make life long friends.

Campers make cooperative decisions about activities, participate in daily work crews and learn life skills such as independence, accountability, negotiation, and decision making.

A small program for teenagers 13-15 expands on the experiences and opportunities of the younger campers.

Camp Woodbrooke is operated by Camp Woodbrooke, Inc., a non-profit corporation based in Madison, WI.
