About Us

Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) is a statewide network of six stations serving the state of Wisconsin. With broadcasts of peerless PBS programs and many locally produced offerings, WPT is a place to grow through learning.

Additionally, WPT builds on its broadcast service by devoting resources to enriching communities through projects like a preschool literacy program and community forums on race and diversity.

Full schedule information and other news about events and community outreach programs can be found at wpt.org

WPT is a service of the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board and University of Wisconsin-Extension, which provide equal opportunities in employment and programming including Title IX requirements.

WPT's Madison studios are the home base for all volunteer activities. Cable TV subscribers can watch WPT on Channel 11; others with over-the-air signals will find WPT at Channel 21.
