Exports at all-time high
Wisconsin exports rose by 10.4 percent in 2004, to $12.7 billion, marking the state's all-time high and third consecutive annual increase.

Canada remained by far the state's largest export destination, and the products exported were again dominated by industrial machinery, such as motors and papermaking equipment.
