Triple M is showcasing up and coming artists in the Emerging Artists Concert Series. Its a series of cool concerts that gives you a chance to discover a new artist in an intimate club setting.
Erik Kjelland
Erik Kjelland is one of Wisconsin’s own Emerging Artists, hailing from Mineral Point. He started his road to a musical career while still in his teens, writing and performing his own songs at the age of 16. For the next ten years, he fronted bands (remember Crimson Vim?) or played solo for audiences all over the Midwest.
Now out with an album called “ Everybody Falls”, and the song “ Brighter” Erik is taking his musical message to help raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America after seeing firsthand how MS was affecting a friend of his. The tune has become an anthem to anyone touched by MS in his or her lives.
The whole album is wonderful, and has been described as “ magical,” “ inspiring,” “awesome,” “ excellent.” You can find “ Everybody Falls” in Borders Bookstores in Madison.
