 When Kitty was a mere lass in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, she dreamed of being a soap opera writer or combat reporter. She gets to combine a little of both in her position as co-host of the morning show. While Kitty disdains having to get up before the sun melts the frost off her car's windshield, she gets a real thrill out of finding obscure news stories. She still loves "stuff spilled on the highway" and "rampaging animal" stories, but also likes stories about images of holy figures appearing in food items, like the one about the patron saint of Mexico appearing in melted ice cream in Houston. Kitty's favorite concert ever was Paul McCartney at the United Center in Chicago in April, 2002. The show was so great, she bought three $35 t-shirts! If you see Kitty tooling around the bike trails near Madison, whatever you do, do not pass her up if you are jogging. That makes her really mad.
