Amethyst loves photographing people, places, things. For her, capturing a moment- elevating the normal or saving the extraordinary -is what photography is all about. Equipment: Nikon D50, Minolta 300si Maxxum, Lensbaby 2.0 for the Minolta, Holga, Polaroids/iZone, ActionSampler, Octomat, ColorSplash, Pop-9, SuperSampler and other assorted garage-find cameras. Please note, there may be other non-photographic work sprinkled amongst the images. Of the photographs, some may be worked on in a photo editing program. There is debate among photographers that any editing outside of a darkroom is unacceptable. She is not of this camp.
