Because there is an awesome roller-derby sponsored event at East Towne Barnes and Noble. ROLLERGIRL - Totally True Tales From the Track is a new book written by Melissa ��Melicious' Joulwan, a founding member of the Texas Rollergirls. The TXRG are responsible for the rollerderby resurgence in the past 5 years, and so are therefore responsible for roller derby in Madison!

Tomorrow night, Melicious will be at east town Barnes and Noble's from 6-8pm doing a book signing, and a lot of the mad rollin' dolls will be there! Also, when you buy the book at the signing, a portion of the proceeds will go to Girl Neighborhood Power, a local charity. I'm really excited to get my copy of the book, especially because there is an entire chapter on MRD!
