Walk into women's clothing store Lady Moxie and you'll do a double-take. Spacious aisles, stylish display, matched apparel - is this really a consignment store?
Indeed it is, and owner Elizabeth Wewerka hopes the atypical appearance indicates that Lady Moxie does not take typical approach to consignment apparel.
The store's neat appearance is attributed to the fact that Wewerka does the "digging" for her customers. She hand-picks the consignment clothes, sparing women the task of having to dig through bins for the true gems.
Lady Moxie also features works from emerging new designers. Wewerka selects designer clothes that are both unique and practical; apparel that has as much a place in the home or the workplace as it does on the runway.
