Dear Readers,

My name is Elizabeth Ossers and I am a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin--Madison.  This will be my introduction to blogging, as I have only done a bit with a photography blog on blogspot. With the assistance of other students, we will make this one a success.  Our plan is for this to be another medium for ASM to connect with the city.

 

So, what is ASM? We are the Associated Students of Madison--the student of government of the UW-Madison campus.  Every student enrolled at the university is a member. Talk about power in numbers.

 

Madison.com approached ASM a few weeks ago, and as a member of the Campus Relations committee I was asked to start this up. So, here I begin, with an invitation to all of you to continue reading our blog. Please voice your questions, comments, concerns, opinions, and anything else that you may have to say.

 

We are advocators and organizers for student concerns.

 

In the coming weeks we would like to inform you about the happenings within ASM--what we are doing for the benefit of Madtown students. Our first official article will be written by the ASM Chair, Eric Varney. Please stay tuned for what he has to say.
