Another day, another giveaway

It's incumbent upon me to let you know that I have yet another pair of tickets to give away for yet another show -- this time it's Jim White with Vid Libert at the Orpheum Stage Door this coming Thursday night (May 8), once again courtesy of True Endeavors, aka the hardest-working music promoters in the blogging business.

Thursday night's show marks the start of White's 2008 Midwest/East Coast tour in support of the recent Transnormal Skiperoo, which has been garnering what they call "generally favorable reviews."

And of course, you already know that custodian by day/musician by night Vid Libert has made a name for himself (locally, at least) by creating genuinely listenable "lo-fi psych folk." For a sample, feel free to head over to (ugh) MySpace.

But enough about the artists -- how can you get your grubby little paws on a pair of free tickets to the show? Well, the usual rules apply: Simply e-mail yaharatea[at]gmail[dot]com by noon tomorrow (Wednesday, May 7, 2008) and you'll be entered for a chance to win. The actual winner will be chosen (at random, of course) tomorrow afternoon and notified via e-mail.
