Following a 50-minute rain delay, Ben Sheets tossed four shutout innings and allowed just one walk and a single while striking out four batters in that span. The Brewers' ace pitched like one today, giving up just two hits and issuing two walks in 6 1/3 innings while striking out seven. Solomon Torres just entered the game, marking his official debut out of the Milwaukee bullpen. No score through six but Kosuke Fukudome, who has had two hits today, singled to end Sheets' day with one out in the bottom of the seventh.

Torres just hit Mark DeRosa with a tailing fastball to put runners on first and second with one out. Time to find our if the rebuilt bullpen will be as good as advertised.
