A bit off-topic here, but we had to track this down anyway.
The Yovani Gallardo bobbleheads that the Class A Beloit Snappers planned to give away at last Sunday's game have been held up in customs. The team instead offered vouchers at the game, allowing for fans to pick up bobbleheads when they arrive.
Hopefully that'll be before Gallardo returns to the Brewers from the disabled list. Snappers general manager Jeff Vohs isn't quite sure when the bobbleheads will be in, but he hopes it'll be this week.
Vohs said the team had a similar issue in 2003, but that was because its supplier shut down.
He said he didn't get any complaints at last Sunday's game.
"People were disappointed, but they understood," Vohs said.
