TomoTherapy again tops user satisfaction ratings

Madison-based TomoTherapy Inc., which makes image-guided radiation therapy treatment systems, announced Thursday that it has earned top honors in MD Buyline's user satisfaction rankings for the second consecutive quarter.

MD Buyline measures user satisfaction based on evaluations by more than 3,300 hospitals. Members rank their satisfaction in six areas: system performance, system reliability, installation and implementation, applications training, service response time, and service repair quality.

TomoTherapy ranked No. 1 in overall composite score and either first or second in each contributing category.

The ratings appear in MD Buyline's Quarterly User Satisfaction Report, which was published on July 1.

"We are once again very pleased to be listed atop MD Buyline's quarterly rankings of radiation therapy vendors," TomoTherapy CEO Fred Robertson said in a statement. "It's a significant accomplishment for us, especially considering the company's relative youth and the next-generation nature of the Hi-Art platform. Our employees should be proud of their hard work. It's clearly making a difference."

MD Buyline is a market intelligence organization founded in 1983. It provides the health care industry with independent analysis and reporting.
