Police make arrest after fatal stabbing Downtown

Juan J. Bernal, 22, of Madison, died early today after he was twice stabbed in the chest following an altercation that began in a Downtown bar. Police said Bernal was stabbed twice in the chest and died earlier today at a Madison hospital. It was the sixth murder in Madison in 2008. Madison police responded to an area outside the Plaza Tavern, 319 N. Henry St., around 11:30 p.m. following a stabbing and later arrested Justin R. Stout, 31, of Madison, according to a police news release. full story >>> WSJ
