Road construction to begin near West High School
Several streets near West High School will be closed for road construction for the next several months, beginning this week.
The Madison traffic engineering department said reconstruction on water mains and storm and sanitary sewers on portions of Rugby Row, Vista Road and Eton Ridge could begin as early as Monday.
Some drive entrances and sidewalks will also be replaced as necessary. Streets will be open to emergency vehicles and local traffic only during the construction, which city crews estimate will take about 15 weeks.
