Shots fired on Troy Drive

Gunfire filled the night air and a patio door in the 1500 block of Troy Drive early Sunday morning.

Madison police said multiple holes were discovered in the sliding glass patio door but no bullet holes were found inside the apartment.

The incident happened shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday.

"Investigators believe the resident was targeted in this attack although no specific motive was established," said police spokesman Joel DeSpain.

There were no injuries and the resident did not see the perpetrator.
