Howard Dean is bringing his Register for Change bus to Madison on Wednesday and will hold a voter registration rally in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 3:45 p.m.
Dean, chair of the Democratic National Committee, has been crossing the country to sign up voters and build voter enthusiasm for the past several months.
The former Vermont governor and presidential candidate started the tour in the back yard of outgoing President George W. Bush, in Crawford, Texas, in mid-July.
After making dozens of stops in several states before last week's Democratic Convention in Denver, Dean planned a stop in Milwaukee earlier Wednesday with a voter registration rally at the Marquette University Alumni Memorial Union at 12:15 p.m., and the bus will then travel to Madison.
