Biden to campaign in Green Bay on Monday

Joe Biden, the Democratic vice presidential candidate and Delaware senator, will campaign Monday in Green Bay, according to a release sent out Friday night by Barack Obama's campaign.

Biden will take part in a town hall event at KI Convention Center, 333 Main St. beginning at 9 a.m. Doors will open at 8 a.m.

Free tickets will be available beginning today at noon at one of five different locations: Green Bay, 1041 Velp Ave. (Call 920-490-9100); Appleton, 214 E. College Ave. (920-735-4989); Manitowoc, 1207 Washington St. (920-682-7392); Sturgeon Bay, 82 S. 3rd Ave. (920-559-8200) and Marinette, 1703 Marinette Ave. (920-254-8238).

Biden's appearance is the third campaign stop in two weeks for candidates in Wisconsin since the two parties' conventions. Obama campaigned in Milwaukee on Labor Day and Republicans Sen. John McCain and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin appeared in Cedarburg on Friday.
