The public is invited to attend the annual public hearing of the Environment, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee of the Dane County Board Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Carnegie room of the Stoughton Public Library, 304 S. Fourth St.
The intent of the hearing is for officials to review current county environment, agriculture and natural resource programs and gather comments, concerns and interests from the public and affected stakeholders.
Dane County Environment, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee oversees budgets for the Dane County Humane Society, Dane County University Extension and Dane County Land and Water Resources Department.
People are also encouraged to bring up concerns and interests regarding the County Conservation Fund, and other planning, environmental, agricultural or natural resource issues.
