Suspect sought in Park St. Walgreens robbery
Madison police are searching for a man who reached over a counter and stole money from a cash register Friday night from a Walgreens drugstore at 2121 S. Park St.
The strong-armed robbery occurred at 9:33 p.m.
The suspect is a black male of medium build, approximately 5-foot-8 and 25 to 30 years old, with a short Afro hair style. He was wearing a green and gold jacket and dark blue jeans, and left the scene in a gold minivan with a license plate number 372-DTD.
As of Saturday morning, the suspect still had not been apprehended, according to Madison police.
Police are continuing to investigate the robbery.
