Madison police are searching for four Hispanic teenagers who used pepper spray to attack a 16-year-old Madison boy the night of Sept. 28.

The victim was walking along Post Road near Coho Street at 8 p.m. when he was approached by one of the suspects, who was armed with pepper spray. The victim was sprayed in the eyes, fell to the ground and was kicked several times.

The boy, who is not sure why he was targeted, was treated for injuries at a local hospital and released.

The suspects were all Hispanic males. One suspect is described as age 18, 5-foot-7, with a thin build and short hair, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Another suspect is age 16, 5-foot-6, with slicked back hair and a pudgy build, and was wearing a short-sleeved brown checker argyle T-shirt.
