The Madison Post Office will unveil a new baseball stamp during the 7th inning stretch at Sunday's Madison Mallards baseball game. The game starts at 5:05 p.m.
The 42-cent stamp, created this year by stamp designer Richard Sheaff, celebrates the 100th anniversary of the song "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
The catchy, familiar tune, which has become part of the musical tradition at ballparks around the country, was written in 1908 by vaudeville entertainer and songwriter Jack Norworth.
