Update: City of Madison Web services remain down
The city of Madison's Web site services remained down on Sunday in the wake of a reported hacking attempt on Friday.
The outage includes services such as Report a Problem, the City News Release System, and Police Incident Reports, according to a notice on the city's Web site -- www.cityofmadison.com.
All of the city agency sites will not be responding to Web requests during the downtime, and service is not expected to be restored until Monday, the notice states.
