A Fitchburg man jailed as part of his probation after robbing a Papa John's pizzeria last year was arrested again Monday, this time for allegedly robbing a Mobile gas station, 3505 E. Washington Ave., while he was out of jail to attend school.

Corey L. Holly, 18, was put on probation for eight years and ordered to spend a year in jail as a condition of that probation after he pleaded guilty to robbery last year.

Holly was given the one year jail term with Huber law privileges which allow him to attend classes at Madison Area Technical College, which he has been doing consistently since February, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office.

Holly was scheduled to attend class Monday at 8 a.m. but did not show up. Shortly after that, the Dane County Jail was notified by the Madison Police Department that they had arrested Holly after the East Washington Avenue robbery.

Along with the new charge, Holly could also face revocation of his probation and re-sentencing on the robbery from last year.
