Milwaukee man arrested, accused of assault
A Milwaukee man was arrested early Thursday morning after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in the downtown area, according to the Madison Police Department.
Oscar Elliot, 33, was arrested on charges of kidnapping, sexual assault and strong armed robbery.
The incident reportedly took place at about 2 a.m. Thursday near State Street and Gilman Street. The woman was able to contact a police officer immediately after the incident, and the suspect was quickly detained.
Police are not releasing any further details at this time.
