The Wisconsin Wireless Association (WiWA) has announced the formation of the latest state wireless industry association and will hold its inaugural meeting on July 9, 2008 at the Delafield Brewhaus in Delafield, just off Interstate 94.
Scheduled keynote speakers for the meeting include Michael Fitch, president and CEO of PCIA-The Wireless Infrastructure Association, and Nancy Chrisman, director of the State Wireless Association Program (SWAP) and membership for PCIA.
WiWA describes itself as a nonprofit professional association dedicated to being the voice of the wireless industry in Wisconsin. Its members include wireless carriers, tower companies, network developers, and their supporting vendors. Its mission is to promote positive awareness about the wireless industry through education, to form and cultivate strong relationships between the members of the wireless industry, and to enhance the communities it serves.
