The National Weather Service predicts a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, with the possibility of storms increasing to 40 percent this evening. Storm-related hazards would likely be large hail and damaging winds.

A flood warning remains in effect for Rock and Jefferson counties to the south and east of Dane County.
