Construction starts on Library Mall
Underground utility construction on Library Mall on the UW-Madison campus has begun and won't be completed until June 2009.
The work is expected to increase utility capacity and improve reliability in the east campus area.
Construction work starts near the Memorial Library and will proceed south to the East Campus Mall.
Pedestrian access to the Library Mall will be maintained along the State Street Mall during the construction period.
