Two vehicle collided on Wisconsin 59 in Rock County Thursday morning, sending two people to hospitals with injuries that weren't life threatening, the Rock County Sheriff's Office reported.
The crash occurred just before 8 a.m. on Wisconsin 59 about 0.2 miles east of North Casey Road in Porter Township, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
The investigation showed that Theodore Larson, 43, of Belleville, was driving a Ford F350 pickup truck eastbound on 59 near North Casey Road when he crossed the center lane and struck a 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Chad A. Johnson, 37, of Edgerton. Johnson, who was hauling a skid loader on a flat-bed trailer, had one passenger - Cody J Deegan, 19, of Edgerton.
Larson's truck struck Johnson's truck at an angle, causing the trailer and skid loader to dislodge and overturn.
Larson was not wearing a seat belt but his air bag deployed. He was partially ejected but remained pinned in the truck and was extricated by Edgerton firefighters and flown by MedFlight helicopter to UW Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Johnson, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Edgerton Hospital, where he was treated and released with minor injuries. Deegan was wearing his seat belt and was not injured.
Larson will be cited for operating left of center no seat belt, the Sheriff's Office said.
