Two women were battered and one of them cut in a fight with two men Sunday afternoon while watching the National Football League playoffs, Madison police said.
The group of four was watching football and
drinking beer in an apartment in the 300 block of Clyde Gallagher
Avenue on the city's east side when an argument turned into a
physical battle, the women later told police.
The fight started shortly before 4 p.m., and one of the women said one of the men punched her several times in the head and slashed her cheek and chin with a knife.
The other woman was hit several times in the head, police said. Police know who the two men are and are looking for them but have yet to find them, they said.
