Larry Ellis Reed: Taking the prosperity gospel ' to a new low?

It's my understanding that the Hugo Chavez regime in Venezuela has established what it calls a "Reformed Catholic Church" to push its quasi-socialistic agenda through the churches -- much to the objection of the established Roman Catholic Church.

How much longer will it be before we see some fundamentalist/primitive elements setting up a "church," with attendant false doctrines, in which Ronald Reagan is regarded as a super-divine deity and the worst specimens of American free enterprise (e.g., Mark Hanna, Samuel Insull, J.P. Morgan, the Van Swearingen brothers) seen as archangels and saints? Wouldn't that be taking the so-called "prosperity gospel" to a new and dangerous low?
