Dear Editor: We're already hearing from the Democrats at all levels about how we need change. The only problem is that for all we hear about how everything is wrong in the world, they offer no solutions.
In the 42nd Assembly District, Fred Clark has been writing letters to the editor saying we need a new way to fund our schools and we need to make health care more affordable in Wisconsin.
Clark says we have a problem with school funding, but offers no solution other than getting rid of the current system. We all support our schools, and we should provide them money, but where does he think we should get this money from? What is his plan? Scrapping the current system with no new plan means the current caps go away and our property taxes go through the roof.
I don't understand how Clark thinks we can make health care more affordable by supporting the Democrats' government-run health care plan, Healthy Wisconsin. He states that people are having a hard time putting food on the table and driving to work, but thinks taking more of their hard-earned money with a $15 billion payroll tax is a good idea. That will kill small businesses and cost people their jobs.
The voters of the 42nd Assembly District can't chance sending Clark down to Madison if he doesn't have a plan we can afford.
