Dear Editor: I'd like to write a letter about why I'm voting for Ralph Nader based his merits. But I campaign for Nader-Gonzalez and have had many conversations with many different people about why they're going to vote for Obama or McCain and they insist over and over that they know what Nader stands for -- even though most of them haven't heard from him since 2004 or even 2000 thanks to the corporate media blackout.
They even promise me they know all about how their candidate falls short, but Nader, they remind me, can't win. Only Obama or McCain can. I heard a caller to Lee Rayburn's radio show the other morning say, regarding alternative candidates, that "if any one of them could pull together enough votes ... I would seriously consider them."
This is the overwhelming attitude of the Obama and McCain supporters I've spoken to, but none can explain to me how a candidate will ever get enough votes together when every voter is holding out till they get enough votes!
You can't wait around for the rest of the country to make it easy for you -- they're all waiting for you!
