In this week's "2 Minute Take,'' John Nichols of The Capital Times and Brian Fraley of the Wisconsin Institute for Leadership skewer recently awarded UW pay raises and speculate on how Barack Obama, in Wisconsin on Thursday, will try to bring back Hillary Clinton supporters.
In the rest of "WisOpinion.com --
The Show,'' presented by The Capital Times, Senate Republican
campaign chief Keith Gilkes talks about how Gov. Jim Doyle's
appointment of Roger Breske as railroad commissioner has improved
the outlook for the GOP
regaining control of the state Senate. He says in addition to the
old Breske seat, the seats of Dave Hansen in Green Bay and Bob
Wirch in the Kenosha area are prime targets. A lot will depend upon
John McCain's performance, he suggests.
And then Fraley and Nichols give their risings and fallings of the
week with commentary on the upcoming state Democratic Party
convention and the floods.
